PROJECT OVERVIEW

WeWork was founded in 2010 with the vision to create environments where people and companies come together and do their best work. Since opening it’s first location in New York City, they have expanded to Toronto in order to provide a global workplace provider committed to delivering flexible solutions, inspiring, safety-focused spaces, and unmatched community experiences. This project in Liberty village allowed our forces to be part of this new way of thinking in the “traditional office environment”.

SCOPE OF WORK

This project was heavily influenced by the clients American based team; thus co-ordination was key to a successful project. The space had a open concept design making all of our installations a key visual part of the design. Our sheet metal team was tasked with creating not only a fully functioning cooling/heating system, but it also needed to be visually appealing and very quiet as not to disrupt the future tenants and take away for the architects vision. We works also stresses their high end finishes in the spaces, with this in mind our plumbing team needed to work closely with the millwrights/tilers works to ensure proper and clean fixture installations.
