PROJECT OVERVIEW

London Poultry is a new, state of the art, 640,000 sq ft facility for fresh poultry processing being built in London Ontario by Maple Leaf Foods. Currently under construction it is expected to open in 2022 and increase Maple Leaf’s capacity by 33%.

SCOPE OF WORK

PBW High Voltage provided a variety of assistance to the construction of the London Poultry site. Temporary power stations were provided for both London Poultry and numerous subs working on the site. On the Civil side, we installed duct banks, and transformer pads for the 7 transformers. Electrically we supplied and installed 7 transformers, 5 bays of switchgear, a 30+ pole line- both temporary and permanent, a building ground loop and 7 pole mounted 27.6 switches. We also provided advise re design revisions.
