PBW High Voltage Ltd., a division of MultiTech Trades Corp., played a key role in the replacement of the main island electrical substation at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

The project involved coordinating with Toronto Hydro for new electrical feeds from the mainland, replacing downstream cables and equipment, and executing multiple planned electrical shutdowns.

Working within an active airport environment required extensive coordination, including overnight generator installations and removals, to ensure uninterrupted power throughout the project.

This project highlights PBW’s expertise in delivering complex high and medium voltage electrical infrastructure upgrades while maintaining safety, reliability, and operational continuity.
